This book and the sacred scroll book with their patina of peace evoke many emotions and that is something that I want to think on for a while. Hard metal, polished pieces of materials yet their meaning softens the heart and the quality of patina- something that takes a long time to achieve. Peace is like that, the hope and desire for it over the centuries, sometimes long lasting, other times so fleeing; the one constant-the hope and desire of so many to turn it into a reality...
