I set out in the cool of the morning for a walk - seeking quietness and nature. The universe had other ideas that included people and dogs. I did not get to do much quite or photography; but I did quite a bit of connecting with people and dogs - 'twas meant to be.
The weather continues to be dry; and we are still experiencing smoke from time to time.

The plants and trees are suffering - lots of leaf fall as you can see from the photo at the beginning and below.

We have been watering the fruit trees, orchids and veggies.

The morning was soft when I started out - soft light in the smoke infused valley; and clouds reflected on a breeze ruffled surface of the fire-pit water bowl.

The birds love the water in the big fire-pit bowl.
to be in severe drought and watching for rain-bearing clouds ...
