This morning on my walk I focussed on checking out some of the beautiful blossoms that were within 10-20 meters of our Maleny home. We often take the bigger view to see beauty; but in reality is can be right before our eyes in the small beauties on our doorsteps.
The hydrangea in the opening photos appears to be a dwarf form that grows close to our orange tree along the side of our home. Very tight head of flowers with a really intense colour.
Following are some more of the many beauties close to home.
The last photo is of a cheeky tiny brown honey rather that was enjoying the early morning nectar.
I'm glad we are surrounded by so much simply beauty as it can be a reminder that all is not lost and all is not dark.
