A walk on the wild side?

Fiona and I did gardening and harvesting in the veggie garden this morning so there was no walk along Treehaven Way. We had to go into town a bit earlyish for a couple of appointments. The sky was very blue and clear and the sunshine highlighted the flowers etc. 

A waterdragon perched safely on the block wall above the wildlife action below.

For those who don't like snakes just scroll done a bit to beautiful blossoms and blue sky. On our way up to the main street beside the pathway near the community centre a medium sized python was devouring a possum. We didn't have time to stop and take a photo; but I did take one an hour later - the possum was devoured and snake with fat belly basked in the sun for a while before moving off to a safer spot in the bushes.
