Fiona and I have arrived home to spring - buds and flowers abound. This blog post simply shares some of that beauty including the swamp orchids above at Deckled Edge Press. The Jackaranda trees are also filling out with purples blossom - and did I mention the blue sky and sunshine this morning!!!

ReplyDeleteWhen we first moved to Texas there was a mid-summer drought underway ... our real estate agent apologized to us, saying it was had been so much prettier in spring ... but to our eyes, there was a sere beauty to it all ... much like the Scottish landscapes you have been posting ... how fortunate that there is room enough in our hearts for both monotones and saturated palettes of colour ...
