Changing moods of the sky

It seems to Fiona and I that one of the startling features of the highland weather is how quickly it changes - one day grey and the next blue, the next bursting with sunshine and then rain and mizzle.

A few images of blue sky with moon below - at the cove.

One feature we find we like is the various shades of grey - maybe because we don't live with it for very extended periods of times.

Anyway - recently there have been some gorgeous sullen skies and skies with gorgeous lines such as in the opening photos. Below are but a few more images of sullen sky days.

I would like to have the skill to paint the opening sky our pen a few lines to try to reflect it's beauty.

  1. Hi LA - we can see the sea in Armadale bay from the upstairs windows - great view across an old barn and then e fields. Go well. B
