Images from the road trip

Fiona and I headed off the mountain for a few days to celebrate her birthday; and to be inspired by art and places. A few photos here of fragments of the trip.

Mt. Tamborine - fell out of a huge eucalyptus tree
We returned to the mountain where it has rained and rained. It is all looking very green; but not inviting for walking or doing outdoor tasks.

  3. The epic scale of the stone and metal works ... hard to believe and wonderful to see.

    But then wait, what? I assumed the bird nest was yet another artwork, until I read the caption. Amazing ...

  4. T, MC and LA - thanks for checking out the detail of the post. T - it was an inspiring place to visit. MC - easy for photos to be beautiful when nature etc offer good subjects. LA - epic indeed; and it just shows that magpies and crows can make great weaving artists!!!! Go well. B
