Unusual light, orchids and the moon, Jupiter and mars

This blog is a bit 'cornucopic'.

I did like the way the sunrise light played on the bare branches of a tree yesterday and today sepia tones yesterday and reflected gold this morning; and the glorious colour on fragments of clouds.

Last night there a fragment of moon with Jupiter and mars - not easy to photograph with the iPhone but worth a try.

And then later some full 10X telephoto shots when it was dark - interesting patterns and light - moon through the trees.

A dew dusted blossom and a gorgeous grevillea.

And a visit to G's orchid house is always rewarding.

Nature can offer such wonder.

  1. the telephoto moon shots reminded me of Newcomb College Pottery (https://www.google.com/search?q=newcomb+college+pottery+tree+moon) ... and I'm impressed you were able to capture so much of the moon and planets with an iPhone

  3. Hi LA and P - thanks for doing me in the enjoyment of nature. LA - I checked the link out - quite surreal how the pottery and photo are similar. LA and P - Sometime the iPhone allows. P- G's orchid house offers weekly delights. Cheers. B
