Alive with lorikeets and other bits

 

Grevilleas are blooming everywhere around our home; and the lorikeets just love them. The morning walk was filled with the blur of these speedy birds - flashing and screeching - in a nice way.

A couple of photos of one racing away once it spotted me.

Talking of things racing away - I met this beautiful wallaby in Palm Street but it was not staying to get up close and personal.

Following are a few other joyful gems from this morning - an overcast morning with a couple of drizzly patches along the walk.

G's orchid house is still doing him proud - more new blooms every week; and more on the way as you can see from the last photo.
