An abundance of green and a spot of orange

Some folk up our way are having a little moan about the lack of rain this wet season. Fiona and I think the combination of a little rain now and then and sunshine has done wonders on the block. There is so much green and so much produce as you can see from the photos bellow.

I just say thanks for such abundance. And I think the spiders even like this weather - so many webs catching the misty rain.

  1. Who else can say their garden grows basil, limes, chilies, coffee and bananas? What a variety! Is this the normal garden line-up for Australia? Just wondering. Have a strong suspicion the bananas would not over-winter well in CT. Enjoy!

  2. What a beautiful post! Bell chilies? Banana trees? Fresh limes from the tree! Wonderful. As if all of that isn't enough eye candy, that amazing last spiderweb photo. Swoon.

  3. Abundance in the garden as well as in the studio! Love seeing your garden, B & F, so lush and interesting. Our garden just looks burnt dry and sad in comparison. Love that cobweb!

  6. Hi J. P, AA, C, VA and B - I'm glad when folk can share the beauty of our spot on the globe - and always pleased when you drop by in person and share a cup or glass. J - Not really the normal line up - we do work at it a bit - only frozen bananas over your way./ P - know that as a person of the land you can appreciate this lot. AA - we are fortunate aren't we. C, AA, VA and B - that spider just keeps rebuilding that web - have to admire that. All - go well and peace. B
