Seems like Leafspoons are also popular gifts. I think it is because they are quirky, light and easy to send in the mail - both nationally and internationally.
Anyway Maleny Additions needed a restock of the Leasfspoons so another recycled silver-plated copper drink tray was converted into 7 Leafspoons. I'm sharing a few photos of the different stages of the process.

Looking good; and hopefully going to make a few folk smile.
Gorgeous! One of the things I most appreciate about your work is how you make the most utilitarian objects, so beautiful. Sure to delight anyone who receives one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Barry, with such a sheen. They'd make a lovely gift. And how you make them is sheer magic!
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised B, they are stunning as is all your gift range. The best repurposed gift range on the coast, for sure!
ReplyDeleteHi AA, C & K - thanks for checking out a new bunch of products. It is often a funny thing that we create something that is a one-off quirky thing but then folk want byou to continue making them. The only things that keep the soul on this is that I keep using recycled material, each piece is unique; and the individual pieces bring joy to the purchaser and the receiver. Go well and create well. B
