Much more of the moon and morning light

©2015 Barry Smith - Fading edge of the moon - early Wednesday morning
Mostly on Wednesday I post on photos from my Monday and Wednesday early morning walks; but this week has been different - the morning moon and associated morning light has been special; and though I have put up a couple of images on FB I thought I'd like to share a few more on the blog. That is an indulgence I know…..

The photos were taken over two mornings - Monday and Tuesday - around the same time between 5.30am-6am. However, the actual moonset on Tuesday was a fair bit later and so the colour was washed out by the rising sun.

I felt it was worth being up early to capture this light and moon. The more clearly defined telephoto photos were taken with the Canon Powershot.
