Installation and other bits

I thought I would share a few photos of the installation of the Peace Posts on Friday - as you can see from the photos we were running out of light. We got the 5 posts in place with a beautiful western mountain background; and a great sunset.

During the week Fiona and I will return to the posts and set them in gravel, treat them for white ants and make sure they are all aligned.

There was a big recycling-carboot sale at our local show grounds on Saturday - Fiona and I attended early and had a bit of fun picking up bits and pieces we will use in our art. The interesting piece in the top of the tray is a metal mould - next time I'm smelting I intend to pour into it to see what the object comes out like.

Life is never dull on the block - always maintenance jobs to be done including washing the solar panels to ensure maximum generation of power. The pay off was good views of the valley from the top of the shed-studio.

I did get to complete some of the riveted earrings but that will be for another day.
