Fiona and I have an Open Studio event at our studio (Deckled Edge Press) tomorrow (Saturday 13/3 10am-4pm).
It will provide folk with the opportunity to try their hand at letterpress printing using colours including the gorgeous pink above. We will have three presses operating - folk can print with words and decorative pieces such as in the photos following.
There is a small exhibition of works and posters relating to women's issues in recognition of International Women's Day on 8/3. There will also be 10% off everything in the gallery-shop.
I did get around to completing my climate crisis poster as you can see below - we are being encouraged to accept a new world that provides us with enough and is sustainable. The poster has three layers and three colours - three printings. The proof photo shows how things can evolve.
The poster complements my poetry book that I printed recently.
