A day of light and birds on the wire

The start of the day appeared a little gloomy when we got up at 5.30am to get Fiona on her way to her 6am circuit training group.

As she headed out the front door she pointed out to me that there was a glimmer of light in the east that might light up as I walked Treehaven Way. And what a light show I experienced as you can see from the photos below.

And I was taken with the power lines and the silhouettes of birds against the clouds of the morning sky.

And just to round the day off we went to the beach to catch up with one of Hiro's students (Rina) whio is over here as part of a school exchange from Tatebayashi. And the day ended with the sunset over the beach.

So you can see why I titled this post - light and birds ion the wire. All photos taken with the iPhone and none edited or altered.

  1. These skies are spectacular! Gorgeous photos. It's such a treat to see the breathtaking views from your lovely spot. Your artists eye is keen whether applied to metalwork or photos. But how do you consistently manage such great shots with your IPhone?! I seldom get mine to turn out well.
