Evening at Entangle (and a bit of recycling)

Fiona and I headed to Dayboro yesterday afternoon for the meet the Makers (at Entangle living art) event. I had not been back since I delivered a stash Artisan Lamps at the end of June in time for the soft opening on 1 July. Last night was the official public opening - a celebration of what the gallery-shop has become in one month.

The place has a really good vibe; and is just full of so much handmade and recycled and upcycled stuff.

I delivered another 8 Artisan Lamps as about half the original stash have sold. I also delivered the resin watch-clock parts jewellery. The following photos show how my Artisan Lamps glow amidst the other works - on the night they served a practical purpose in that they added light to the old butter factory

And Fiona and I got to raid one of the shed's of the owner of the complex (Murray) who also makes bakelite light fittings etc. I was mainly in search of wheels and gears for bases for lamps  - and I scored well.

So it was a good day-night on both fronts.

Congratulations to Nola and David of Entangle Livingart for taking the big step they took to set up a new gallery-shop; and double congratulations on the fact that it is working well; and triple congratulations on a grand event last night..
