Rainbows and valley views

I have been off the internet waves for a few days as I have a burst blood vessel in my left eye - spontaneous. It looked (and still does) pretty darn ugly. It looks like a zombie eye - a green iris surrounded totally by blood - hope I have not put you off you food. Anyway after many visits to eye folk we have been told it is not sinister; it has not damaged my sight; and it will resolve itself in about a month. So I'm on light duties this week; and my creativity is in the main limited to photos.

I caught a lovely winter rainbow from the louvre window and the reflection off stainless steel pots that combined on the stone kitchen bench top.

And some soft valley rainbows.

Great valley panoramas and light on the mountains.

Still good that the iPhone offers the opportunity for a little creativity.

  1. Good luck with the eye. Richard had a similar prob last December and it's still resolving itself after lots of laser welds.

  4. Hi Barry, I had a very similar problem a few weeks ago, and my first thought was - I look like a Zombie...grin. The next day I went to my doc and he said it is nothing serious; but a possible reason could be, that my blood pressure is too high. And indeed he was right. Just a thought...maybe you should check your blood pressure sometime or other...

    Good luck with the eye!

    Sending big hugs your way,
    Gaby

  5. Sorry to hear about your eye. Hoping it resolves as quickly as possible. These photos are beautiful. Never a good time to find oneself on light duty, but hopefully having such gorgeous vistas helps.
