Beach glass, bone, pebbles and other matters

Over the weekend most of our art time will be given over to making the book shaped awards - so today I progressed a bit more stuff for the jewellery expo.

I made more negative space bone pendants. I added a few pebbles and beach glass that was on studio shelf - after I drilled holes with a diamond drill of course. I like the simplicity of organic simplicity of these pendants.

I have been finishing off some swing and riveted earrings. Some that were finished today follow - bit boring but that is how it is with sale stands and expos.

Over the weekend I'm also working on my Leafspoons and Ladles for Maleny Additions as they are all but out of stock. I will report on those another day. Time to sit and have a Friday drink and do a bit of planning for next year.

  6. V, R, S, J, JM, C & D - glad this simple post struck a cord with you - makes me thing that the simple organic things can appeal to many of us. Bring together the bones and stones and glass just seemed so natural. I tried metal but it screamed - wrong!!! Though these pendants will be taken to the jewellery Expo if folk want to buy them that van be arranged. All - enjoy the simple things. B
