A morning filled with promise

©2015 Barry Smith - Words to start the day
We started the morning with "delight" and "nurturing" as our words for the day. These were chosen as we looked over the soft light of the valley as you can see below.

The walk along Treehaven Way offered gentle light and the left over dew from the night.

Whilst some of the photos are of flowers etc that are familiar I never cease to be delighted by the small ways in which they change and therefore attract the eye, including the tiny insects that can inhabit the flowers. And I was greeted home with a new red rose. This was picked for Fiona.

A delightful and nurturing morning.

  1. I've been following Fiona's blog for a while and have visited here from time to time ... always enjoying the flower photography. But it was the bit of weave under the stone that finally prodded me to add your blog to my Kindred Spirits links ... better late than never. I'm looking forward to more exploring.

  2. Hi P & L - thanks for taking the time to visit and leave a comment. P - always grand to share our views of our worlds. L - thanks for taking the time to check out my blog. The woven piece is by Mary-Jane Dodd - it is part of our sacred corner. Go well and enjoy life and art. B
