Resurrecting and other bits

The title of the blog is linked to the sculptural rocker that had literally fallen to pieces after being in the elements for 10 years. As you can see from the photo below there was not much that could hold together.

However after putting two newish timbers under the seat and one in the ladder backrest I was able to use most of the old timber to recreate - resurrect the rocker.

 I think the morning walk is a sort of resurrection - it brings peace and calm to my day.

  1. Your rocker sculpture is rather like a seat we have in our garden. It needs similar treatment to give it, like yours, a new lease on life. Your other photos are just beautiful...
