©2019 Barry Smith - Cottage by a small stone beach - Mellness - such strength - facing the sea - maybe a boat shed and fisher persons cottage? |
Another haunting feature of the trip was the number of small sheds and cottages that seemed to have served their purpose and now were left to gradually disintegrate.

Thank you for this, SO MUCH
ReplyDeletelove how these beautiful ruins sit in the landscape
ReplyDeleteBarry these are exquisite. Can I have the one by the roadside at Horse Sound please. That will do quite nicely.
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how many of structures in your Highland images (in this post and others) make me think of patchwork pieces ... the colors and textures are equally inspiring
ReplyDeleteG,MC, T and LA - thanks for tour comments on the post - good to get reactions to stuff we put up. G - glad you are interested. T - thought they might appeal to you and how good is it that one is located overlooking Horse Sound - and it appears to be a barn - or maybe a very small very old cottage with an animal byre attached. LA - I can totally see the link with patchwork - the patchwork of rust, paint, wood and stone are so like sections of a patchwork. All - go well. B
