We have been flat out over the weekend moving stuff to our new home to be. By the end of the weekend the place began to look more like us.
We have left quite a bit of our 'sculpture-on-the-block' for the new owners of 601 - appreciated given she is an accomplished ceramic artist. We have given some away. But we have taken a few pieces with us. Some of mine, Ken Munsie and Kim Schoenberger - signature pieces that connect the new place with the old.
The photos are not so good - rushed shots along the way.
We are also taking one of my sets of Bending with us - will need to take time to install it.
Nice to have some familiar pieces to have around you, then new ones!
ReplyDeleteI confess to looking beyond your sculptures (each one of which is worthy of a post) to get a peek at your new home ... the green surrounding the deck ... wood floors ... and what looks to be a very clever looking solution to water on the porch
ReplyDeletehaving just been through it ourselves, have fun making the new place all yours!
Beautiful pieces. I'm so curious about your new place... and the leaving of that amazing view!
ReplyDeleteso good to see some glimpses of your new home & love the chair made of garden stakes!

ReplyDeleteAhh how welcoming to see some of the old at your new place. Looks lush and beautiful beyond the deck. Hoping you both enjoy your new place immensely!
