It seems to Fiona and I that one of the startling features of the highland weather is how quickly it changes - one day grey and the next blue, the next bursting with sunshine and then rain and mizzle.

One feature we find we like is the various shades of grey - maybe because we don't live with it for very extended periods of times.
Anyway - recently there have been some gorgeous sullen skies and skies with gorgeous lines such as in the opening photos. Below are but a few more images of sullen sky days.
I would like to have the skill to paint the opening sky our pen a few lines to try to reflect it's beauty.
