Rust, stone and abandoned boat

Fiona and I went to Sandside Beach to collect a few flat stone for a project Fiona is working on. It gave us the chance to also visit the wee fishing harbour and revel in the rust and stone of the place.

More rust follows - some of the big rusty objects seemed like they might act as anchors.

Stone to be enjoyed including stone stairs ways - there are many in this wee harbour - maybe it was a safety thing in the past or just that all the fish etc had to be hauled up by hand from the small boats that lined the harbour walls.

The abandoned boat below is just begging to be sketched - strangely it is meant to float on water - but it was full of water!!!!

Each time we come over to three cottage we make a visit to this beautiful little harbour which is still in use.
