This blog really is in two parts: some gorgeous blossoms from this morning (above and below); and some rust and texture images from a gallery Fiona and I visited on Saturday (later in the blog).
We visited The Churn Room gallery in Dayboro to see an exhibition called The Collection. Whilst the exhibition was beautiful; I was also captured by the use of rust, rope and the fact that old features of the historic building are on show - art pieces in their own right as you will see below. Very creative use of rusty mattress springs - lots of them acting as dividers, backdrops, hanging walls etc.
So there it is - that and this; or this and that - contrasting types of beauty.
