Worn and textured doors and windows

 

During our recent trip to Orkney I was quite taken with the wear and texture on quite a few doors and windows - particularly those on older stone and, in many cases, ruinous building. 

I'm thinking I might like to paint a series of doors and windows - I will need the guidance of Megan to get the flaking paint and texture look right.

This post shares a sample of the doors and windows I photographed  - random order.

I did use the app to remove the background of a few to just see what that would look like.

I  imagine I might start to paint some of the above in the coming couple of months.
