One of the good things about the gradual move out of winter to spring is that there is a little more light around at 5.30am when we awake to get Fiona on the road for her circuit training and me off for a Wednesday walk with my iPhone.

Came across this unusual grow in the bushes as I cut through to Treehaven Way.

And by the time I got to Treehaven Way there was a soft sunrise on show - because there is no cloud the light tends to be defused.

And spring is showing it is competing with winter as new colours and growth are bursting out.
And on the home front the next lot of coffee is ripening and calling to be harvested.

Soft clear mornings are so restorative. All photos curtesy of the iPhone.
Beautiful photos.... almost makes me want to rise at 5.30am to see what the world looks like.. :)
ReplyDeleteHi J - that made me laugh - yes the early mornings are beautiful but do challenge the sleep. B
ReplyDeleteI do always love it when I get up early... but I don't do it too regularly if I'm not running out the door to drive for an hour and a half to get to school to teach. But the morning, misty drives can be spectacular. Spring is looking lovely there, here, there are great piles of firewood in everyone's driveways, waiting to be stacked up or split for winter.
ReplyDeleteI love that spring is on its way and that you are up before the sun poking it about. Lovely images Barry.
ReplyDeleteVA & SB - thanks for visiting my early morning images. VA - must be a beautiful time of the year as you drift into winter. SB - earl;y morning spring just seems to be a bit special doesn't it. Thanks for compliment on images. Go well. B
