I often associate winter with fallen leaves, bare branches and few flowers; but this morning proved me wrong again. Such beautiful light in the pre-dawn sky as you can see above and below.
The lorikeets thought it was worth getting up and adding colour to the day.
Whilst a lot of introduced species of flowers find winter difficult you can see from the photos below many hardy native blossoms are shining on.
So many fragments of beauty - good to have them when so many things seem dark in the world.
