An ongoing story

Today we removed the signage on our DEP public studio-gallery - see above and below. After  6 years of leasing the space we have decided it is time to move on to home based studio space and online shops.

Yesterday we had the first day of two days of a clearance sale - but as it turned out we had sold out on day one. Today we had a few folk dropping in to pick up pieces that they could not take home yesterday. The space is almost totally clear.

Some folk ask if we are sad to be closing the public-gallery. The answer is no - we have had a good 6 years of making, teaching, exhibiting and selling in the public studio-gallery space.

This leads to the second question - are we going to stop making? So, we are not sad to be closing the space and we are not stopping making because we have taken the time to sift and sort and set up smaller home based spaces that will enable us to make what we want and as we want. So those who read this blog will see more of my making and making processes in the near future.

Thanks to all those who supported us in our public studio-gallery; and we look forward to more contact with you soon. Keep an eye out for our upcoming newsletter; my presence on this blog; and my posts on my  FB and Instagram.
