Display in Maleny Library

Fiona and I were invited to display some of our work in the foyer cabinets in our local Maleny Library. We did the set-up this morning. The displays will be in place for the month of February (1-28 Feb).

I decided to show some of my metal sculpture-assemblages. The centre piece is Vase with flowers. It took up most of the space in the cabinet; though I think the other pieces fit well with that piece.

Fiona's display on her birds nests and feathers looks brilliant. A few photos of her display follow. Fiona of course will do her own display greater justice in her blog post. Check out the beauty of the feather in the last photo of this post.

Most of the rest of today was dedicated to friends, community and jobs on the block.
