Fragments from our first week

It is hard to believe that we have been back at the cottage for a week; but that is the case. Mind you we have done quite a lot of chores and catching up with people so in some ways it seems longer than a week.

It is grand to set the burnt sculptures out in the front yard - as you can see from the opening photo they complement the Cove Post that is permanently installed now.

We continue our tradition of walking to the cove; and if the weather permits that can be twice a day. A crofting couple have bought gorgeous pigs to farm since we were here last. The pigs want to come to the fence line for a talk - more likely to be fed!!!

We went to Skerray yesterday for a natural dying demonstration; and whilst there Fiona and I checked out the old corrugated iron church which sadly is falling into ruin as you can see from a few photos below.

A couple of other random photos follow.

Over the coming weeks I might even be able to group photos better.
