Moon, orchids and other morning fragments

The setting moon has been quite gorgeous over the past few days - setting later each morning of course. This morning a 3/4 moon hung in a clear blue morning sky.

A couple of photos from the 25 July.

A couple of images from this morning on the iPhone.

G's orchid house did not disappoint this morning.

I did not expect to see much on today's walk - very wintery. But as you can see nature can always surprise.

I'm always grateful that I have sight to appreciate such beauty.

  2. a beautiful gibbous moon ... and I'm trying to imagine the size and layout of G's orchid house, as the varieties seem endless (and all fascinating)

  3. Hi there MC & LA - thanks for joining me in the joy of nature. G's orchid house - actually a green house in the village that was unused - is about 6mX6m. He has at least 400 orchids. He has them well sorted and categorised. There are always new orchids emerging. Cheers. B
