Spring begins

What a beautiful morning - the morning light is beginning to be present now - no more dark winter light. There was sun in the big tree up top; a newish moon in a blue sky; and the tree that a few weeks ago was bare was alive with the sound of bees at dawn. A ground orchid bulb given to us by G delivered its magic on the first day of spring - above.

There were quite a few blossoms to catch my eye in eluding the 3mm flower on the thyme.

A stroll through G's orchid house was rewarding.

Clear morning light and the beauty of nature helps one hold on to hope. The  bees seemed to be enjoying spring morning and blossoms.

  1. I appreciate your seasonal observations, making me more aware of the changes on our side of the world ... even though Texas is still in the midst of high summer, one can sense the gradual lessening of the sun's intensity

that's a lovely Cheshire-cat-smile of a waning crescent moon ... the opposite of our view of course!

  2. MC, F and LA - so glad that we have the presence of mind to pause and so enjoy the beauty spring offers us. Go well. B
